Hey there! Are you looking for a pretty Easter centerpiece for your tablescape this year?
Great! I’m hoppy you’re here. Sorry, couldn’t help myself… LOL
When I hosted Easter this year, I put together these easy but adorable tulip cabbage centerpieces.
They were the perfect pop of pastel color and so pretty on our Easter dinning room table!
They were easy to make, so I had plenty of time to throw them together along with the rest of the Easter dinner menu.
Lets me show you how to make them!

Easter Centerpiece DIY Tutorial
This DIY begins with a good size bundle of tulips.
I picked these up at my local grocery store.
I snagged three small bundles in colors that matched my plate chargers – dark pink, light pink, and white!
Next, you will need two cabbage heads (or more if you’d like)!
I loved their light green pastel color, and how they blend with the tulip stems.
Simply use a sharp kitchen knife and hollowed out the center of the cabbage.
I also trimmed the bottom stem to make sure the cabbage would sit level.
I made the hole as deep as I could without cutting through the cabbage completely.
Next, put a juice glass, or small vase into your well inside the cabbage.
The cabbages I used were smaller so the glass stuck up a bit, but that’s okay.
I was able to fold over the large tulip leaves which hid it nicely. 😉
Next it’s a s simple as trimming your tulip flower stems, and arranging them in the glass!
I used the extra stem and leaf pieces to tuck into the sides and fold over the edge of the glasses.
I also decided to put these on a small plate to help prevent them from tipping over.
Easter Dinner Tablescape
I placed these small arrangements between my dining room candles and table runner.
I leave these candle holders out year round, and simply change the candles themselves, the table runner, and the decor that surrounds them seasonally.
It works great and doesn’t break the bank when you have some anchor pieces to work around.
I added a spring wreath, and some simple Easter table decor to my buffet side table as well!
I purchased these tulips three days before our Easter dinner.
Keeping them cool in the garage (or fridge) kept them really fresh.
They opened beautifully the day I set them out on the table.
Now all that is missing is the food!
Maybe next year I’ll plan ahead enough to photograph my Easter dinner menu as well!
If your cabbage is smaller (like this one below) you can help disguise the glass with a lose tulip leaf.
I wrapped one around the top of the glass to help disguise the glass, as pictured below.
Cheers my friends and happy Eater Centerpiece DIYing!
