#1) Dollar Store Plastic Elephant Book Ends
These plastic elephant book ends from Love Grows Wild are so fun.
Similar styled book ends sell at Pottery Barn for over $50! These plastic elephants were found in the dollar toy bins from Michaels.
With a couple of wooden blocks, some wood glue, and a fresh coat of paint they quickly turn into a fun art deco style book holder.
#2) Dollar Store Decor DIY – Enamel Painted Vases
Sugar & Charm shows us how you can take simple glass vases and make them a cool custom decor piece using enamel glass paint.
It’s super simple to do, and you can customize any color or creation you can think of!

#3) Pottery Barn Inspired DIY Tiled Mirror
Here is another Pottery Barn knock off!
This tiled mirror DIY from Dollar Store Crafts looks both modern and chic.
You can assemble this 9 frame mirror for as little as 10 dollars with some foam cork board, and adhesives.
#4) Dollar Store Clothespin Trivets
These clothes pin trivets from Dream A Little Bigger are so colorful and festive!
You only need three ingredients (clothespins, strong glue, and paint) to make these fun circular decals.
They would be a great addition to any laundry, kids, or craft room!
#5) Dollar Store Succulent Planter
Is this awesome? Or is this awesome?
There is no way this looks like a dollar store creation!
This super stylish DIY come from Craftberry Bush.
She used clear glass supports in between dollar store ceramic bowls. She then filled them up with gravel, sand and potting soil along with a few river rocks for decoration.
#6) Nail Polish Marble Mugs
Nail polish art is all the rage, and these marble mugs from Babble would be a fun addition to any kitchen.
They are surprisingly simple to make, and make a fun and personal gift idea as well!
#7) Chalkboard Platter Message Center
I love farmhouse chalkboards, but they can get expensive!
This cute and inexpensive DIY chalkboard message center looks great for just pennies on the dollar.
The creative genius behind this DIY is The Budget Decorator.
And while there aren’t specific instructions on how to assembling this, it’s not hard to imagine how they did it!

And my favorite dollar store decor DIY is….(drumroll please)… these DIY Hurricane Lanterns from Grosgrain!!!
At first glance would ANYONE know that they are assembled using 5 dollar store picture frames?!

#9) DIY Decorative Sunburst Mirror
Shoot! I all ready picked a favorite. Well this awesome DIY decor piece from Healthy Wealthy & DIYs would be a close second.
Mirrors like this can cost hundreds of dollars! This super smart and stylish DIY costs around $10 and uses a cheap circular mirror, bamboo skewers, gold spray paint, and a glue gun.
Brilliant!
#10) DIY Dollar Store Metallic Flower Pots
These stylist flower pots from Listotic are so easy to make. Gold spray paint and dollar store pots and you’re all set!
I’m thinking these would be gorgeous herb pots as shown in the picture below when placed inside your windowsill.

#11) Dollar Store Picture Frame Tray DIY
What a great use for an old (or ugly) π picture frame!
