Frosty & Fresh Winter Centerpiece & Table Decor Ideas

Hey there!  Are you looking for winter centerpiece and table decor ideas for after Christmas?

Great!  You’re in the right place.

When the Christmas decor comes down, my house feels lonely and bare.

Yours too? 😉

This year I decided to put a little more attention into a winter refresh, and I love how it turned out.

Adding simple winter decor pieces has those bare spaces feeling inviting and cared for again.

I used simple greenery in combination with wintery accents like frosted flowers, pinecones and twigs.

It’s amazing how simple well placed pieces bring style and warmth to your home over the long winter months.

Enough chit chat, let’s get to the pictures!

In our neck of the woods, the winter landscape is colored with white snow, brown dried grasses, and deep dormant evergreens.

I tried to work these natural colors into my winter centerpiece and table decor this year.

Let’s talk assembly.

Creating A Winter Centerpiece

This neutral table runner and candle centerpiece are staples I decorate around throughout the seasons (like in this pretty fall table decor display).

This not only saves money, it allows seasonal decor to be changed out almost effortlessly by refreshing seasonal fillers.

The same goes for my buffet table that sits adjacent to the dining room table.

The lamps and table runner are anchors year round, which makes changing wreaths and seasonal fillers a snap.

Fist up, the leaf garland.

I found two inexpensive deep green leaf garland strands to weave between the candle centerpieces.

This alone looks great!

But considering we’re in the peak of winter, I wanted to add some frosty fillers.

To start, I decided to add some deep brown eucalyptus branches.

I simply worked to tuck these underneath the garland down the length of the table.

The deep brown color helped add dimension to the design and worked to compliment other colors in the room.

Eucalyptus also smells great too!

I loved the brown/green color combo but felt like this design was still needing a little more.

Why not included some deep blue/green loose flower stems and frosted white flowers?

These bring in the perfect small touch of color without overpowering and looking too spring like.

After the flower buds were nestled into place, I had to include pine cones next to the candle bases for extra wintery appeal.

I finished off the design with a few sprigs of wintery white frosted flower buds.

These really helped tie the design together by accenting the white candles and picking up on other brighter elements in the room.

Snow frosted anything is perfect for after Christmas winter decor.

I can’t wait to be gathering around this winter centerpiece next time we entertain!

It’s also great that this winter table decor lays flat and is very low profile which makes dinner conversation much easier.

Keeping with a similar design theme I added greenery fillers and wintery decor to my coordinating buffet table.

Simple eucalyptus potted plants, and farmhouse tin vases hold smaller frosted buds which fill in nicely.

This simple table top GATHER sign is another great anchor piece that transitions right into my spring decor and Easter centerpiece!

I love the bright white winter white buds in the farmhouse tin vases.

The mixture of brown and deep green helps give the greenery a muted winter feel.

Keeping the theme alive, I replaced my Christmas red berry stems with frosted branches and all season greenery.

I just love the ice crystals on these long twig branches which are perfect in my tall vases.

I had to include the front porch winter decor as well.

This was as easy as removing my red berry stems from Christmas, but keeping the rest!

Adding a brown twig front door wreath is perfect for the remainder of the winter months!

Happy winter decorating my friends!

Cheers for now.
