Valentines Marshmallow Popcorn Recipe Rundown
This recipe is so easy to make!
I love to whip up a batch and nearly every holiday, and simply change the candy/sprinkle colors.
To start, you’ll simply melt the butter and marshmallows together.
Be sure to stir this frequently to prevent burning.
While that is melting, pop your popcorn!
I love this popcorn maker, but a extra large stock pot works great too.
Once your corn is freshly popped, transfer it to an extra large mixing bowl or split it between two sheet pans!
Laying the popcorn out flat helps achieve a more even drizzle of the marshmallow mixture.
Then, fold in the sticky marshmallow goodness.
I love to use this small Tovolo scoop and spread spatula.
I absolutely love this little tool!
When my aunt delivered it with a plate of to die for cranberry bars, I didn’t realize it would be my next favorite kitchen utensil.
It’s the perfect size, nice and sturdy, and slightly scooped which make it handy for nearly everything.
While you are folding in the marshmallow, sprinkle on your peanuts and mix them in well.
Last up the sprinkles!
The sky is the limit here, add any seasonal Valentines day candy or sprinkles or candies that you enjoy.
YUM!
When the mixture has cooled, you can easily store in a bag or container!
This makes a cute Valentines day gift idea as well. <3
Much love my friends!
