If you’re following a low carb keto diet it can be hard to know if it’s ok to drink. There are be A TON of calories and sugar hidden in some of our favorite classics cocktails…yes you margaritas and frothy beer!
This doesn’t mean you need to forgo alcohol drinks all together though!
You can safely enjoy these low carb keto cocktails without any of the guilt or high sugar contents.
As always, use common sense.
If you’re indulging more often than not you are going to slow or stop your weight loss completely. As a general rule of thumb, enjoying these liquors in moderation is completely safe while on the keto diet.

This Keto hot buttered rum from Peace Love and Low Carb gives me all the feels! It’s absolutely perfect for the holidays or cold winter nights!
It has all of the classic seasonal spices of nutmeg, cinnamon and clove sweetened with sugar free maple syrup and granulated Swerve. Add some spiced rum and it’s cozy time.
#3) Sugar Free Sex On The Beach Keto Cocktail
Low Carb-ology mixes up this irresistible combination of tropical flavors. A mixture of classic, cranberry, and peach vodka give this drink incredible punch and flavor.
Marye uses Mio Energy Tropical Infusions flavoring and sugar free seven up to round it out. A must try!
#4) Low Carb Keto Lemon Drop
Fitviews showcases this simple and tangy cocktail. This recipe mimics one of our favorite lemon drop mixers, but without all of the sugar.
The recipe calls for BiPro lemon lift water, one Truvia sweetener packet and Devotions Blood Orange Vodka in place of the much higher calorie tripple sec.
#5) Low Carb Moscow Mule
If this cocktail wasn’t good enough, the hilarious commentary over at I Breathe I’m Hungry is completely worth the trip! This tasty moscow uses fresh ginger syrup (sweetened with Swerve).
Good Vodka, diet ginger ale and lime juice round it out beautifully!
Don’t forget (or overpay) for your copper mugs though. This 4 pack copper mugs from Amazon is way less than most of the plated mugs you’ll find in department stores!
#6) Low Carb Red Sangria
Low Carb-ology delivers with another delicious low carb drink recipe. The mixture of red wine and berry water enhancer makes this drink super flavorful!
It’s ok to have a couple glasses of this…how could you not?
#7) Low Carb Daiquiri
This low carb keto friendly daiquiri from Ketodietapp.com has great reviews! It’s because it’s made with fresh squeezed lime juice, good rum and blended ice.
With only 3.6 Net Carbs….ummmmm…..yes please!
#8) Low Carb Cosmopolitan
Who doesn’t love a good cosmo? The girls over at Nutrition Twins serve up a lovely low carb variety.
This cosmo has good vodka, diet cranberry juice, and orange extract. It comes in just over 100 calories.
#9) Low Carb EggnogImage Credit Savory Tooth
When it’s holiday time, I’ve gotta have me some eggnog!
This low carb variety from Savory Tooth is a wonderful alternative to it’s sugar packed counterpart.
This recipe calls for almond milk, cream, zero calorie sweetener and all of the holiday spices. This eggnog recipe comes in at .5 grams net carbs! Wow.
#10) A Lower Carb Bloody Mary
This bloody mary recipe from Very Well Fit is packet with spicy tomato flavor!
While tomato based drinks do carry carbohydrates, this recipes halves the tomato juice while still staying true to the bloody mary tradition. With the option of one small drop of horseradish- I’m down.
