Hello holiday decor enthusiasts!
I am beyond excited to share these holiday decor photos with you from our newly renovated modern farmhouse.
It has been SO much fun to decorate our new space!
It’s not always easy to know where to start though.
I’ve been trying to repurpose what I all ready have, add a few fresh touches here and there for what feels like a new display.
I hope you find some inspiration from these designs.
Let’s get to it!

With a newly renovated farmhouse exterior, less was more for me.
I love the simple fresh design with bright red touches!
Outdoor Holiday Decor Ideas
Inspiration for these outdoor planters came after a tree trimming yard project this fall.
I simple saved some evergreen branches and sticks from our pile and pushed them into fresh potting soil.
For the holidays, I added the bright red berries and pine cones!
Jingle Jingle Jingle
It’s the little things that I love the most.
I put these bells on our front door so that each person is welcomed with a holiday sound when they come and go.
I don’t even mind the wind whipping away when I hear the sound of jingle bells in the background. ๐
Holiday Decorating Ideas – The Kids Trees
My kids, and especially my daughter Allie love to help decorate for the holidays!
I decided we all needed our own space to exercise our enthusiasm! ๐
I purchased these adorable burlap wrapped mini trees a number of years ago.
Each kid decorates their own tree with meaningful family ornaments and in toddler style placements. ๐
These are easily one of my favorite pieces of holiday decor.
Holiday Mantel Decor Idea
My husband John (also referred to as Johnny Shiplap by friends and family) built this beautiful shiplap fireplace surround.
Decorating it was so much fun as the green and red pop on the white background.
I have LOVED this simple seeded glass vase on our mantle!
I simply change out the stems and greenery with the seasons. <3
I created this family photo collage after doing some homework on farmhouse shelving displays.
I normally have eucalyptus vines wrapped around the candles. This was a great place to change out greenery for some pretty lit evergreen garland.
Living Room Holiday Decor Ideas
Above is our great room Christmas tree- Mom’s Tree! ๐
I decided to go with berries, flocked stems, and burlap farmhouse style ornaments this year.
This design was inspired from my round up of Christmas Tree decorating ideas that I put together a few weeks ago.
You should check it out if you’re needing some inspiration! ๐
This mantle might be one of my favorite spaces! I love the lit berry garland and bright white stockings.
We couldn’t leave the farmhouse banister railing alone!
My enthusiastic holiday decor helper Allie took it upon herself to get into this red sequin dress and help me deck the halls!
Love her! <3
Holiday Banister Decor
I have been loving the look of long tailed ribbons this year!
This red trimmed burlap ribbon was the perfect combination of casual elegance.
I simply found some wire edged ribbon and went to town. ๐

Kitchen & Dining Room
I have been loving our remodeled farmhouse kitchen!
Simple red ribbon bows add the perfect pop of color.
I can’t wait to be seated in our formal dining room with Grandma and Grandpa for our holiday meals!
For Christmas eve and Christmas day I will pull out all the stops with a beautiful tablescape and fine china.
The dining room was the perfect place to tuck our smaller tree into a bay window.
We will enjoy this eating holiday meals, but also every time we come and go from the house as it shines beautifully through the windows.
This tree I did a mixture of gold, copper, and metallics. My idea was to have it coordinate with a simple low profile tablescape.
Simple Holiday Decorations For The Bedrooms
And last but not least, a little holiday decor love for the bathroom counter tops.
