Are you looking for command center ideas that will organize your families schedules, bills, papers and lists like a boss?
Great, you’re in the right place! 🙂
We’re nearing the end of our farmhouse renovation, so I’m busy compiling inspiring command center ideas to bring into my home.
I’ve see SO many cool displays and command center designs on Pinterest, but to be honest, not all of them are practical for my family of five.
We need something that can help organize loads of
- mail/bills
- school papers/projects
- keys, chargers
- calendars
- shopping lists
- etc
It’s not easy to do this AND make it look pretty! 😛
It’s a good thing Pinterest and a handful of creative DIY bloggers are here to inspire us!
Look out world, when this paper pile finds a place and my meals are planned I may just….well…I don’t know, but it will be great! 😉

#1) Kitchen Command Center Idea
This command center from Aileen Cooks is great! The 12 month hanging calendar is so functional.
I like to jot down dates into the next month occasionally, and though the framed white board or chalk board calendars look stunning they don’t allow you to do this!
Her dry erase grocery list and meal plan are so smart. It would be easy to snap a quick photo of the shopping list on the way out the door!
I also love the stylish wall organizer and pen holders.
#2) Stylish Family Command Center
Blesser House created this beautiful display.
The large gold framed dry erase calendar is a beautiful anchor piece!
The vertical mail holders, cork board, and clock fill it in nicely!
I wonder where they found those dog bowls…
#3) Small Space Command Center
This small command center from The Crafting Chicks is tidy and efficient.
I love the paper scroll, which would work well for shopping lists and notes! The hanging baskets and command hook key holders are super practical.
This design also works well being mounted on a board. You could design and assemble it and then mount it anywhere in your home.
#4) Customizable Commander Center For Home
Pottery Barn does not disappoint with these stylish command center pieces that you can customize to fit your life and style.
I love the galvanized tin, and the symmetry of the arrangement.

This command center from Pinterest has got it going on!
I love the numbered hanging baskets on the bottom, this would work perfect for the kids!
The calendar, cork board, and frames work well underneath the beautiful farmhouse sign.
#6) Laundry Room Command Center
The Caldwell Project showcases this boss like command center.
It’s large and in charge with a place for everything!
I love the framed schedules and mail/key holders. Having everything in symmetrical lines looks clean and efficient!
#7) Corner Commander Center Idea
Sometimes a command center fit in the most unlikely places! Don’t rule anything out, as even unused kitchen corners can serve a purpose!
This photo comes from At Charolette’s House blog which is full of inspiring ideas.
I love that she utilized the cabinetry on the side of her fridge!
#8) Small Wall Command Center Idea
This photo comes from Pinterest. While this wall is probably only 3-4′ at best, has incredible storage potential.
The hanging wire basket organizer and chalk boards work well underneath the framed calendar!
So smart.
#9) Accessible Command Center
Natalie from Turner Interiors knocks it out of the park with this one! The low hanging baskets work well for little ones needing to unpack their belongings.
I love the combination of the clock, family picture, and clip boards.
Super functional and stylish.

Home Hearth Harmony showcases this creative way to utilize this small office desk for storage and organization.
The desk/sofa table works well to anchor the framed pin board and mail organizer.

It’s customizable, and so clean and stylish.
The combination of cork boards, mail and pen holders are a must!
Happy Command Centering!
